Build the foundation for a thriving career in Canada’s construction sector! Do you want to start a career in construction? Launched by BuildForce Canada, Construction Career Pathways is a program that provides 16 weeks of entry-level employment in the dynamic and growing construction sector. Construction Career Pathways can prepare you for an exciting career in the industry through training, experience, and paid employment in a wide range of jobs across the construction sector, many of which are pathways to high-paying careers in the skilled trades. The program is ideally suited for: Women, members of Black, Indigenous, and racialized communities, persons with disabilities, newcomers to Canada, and those who identify as LGBTQ2+; people from equity-deserving groups who want to work in construction Young people seeking work experience Individuals looking for employment or looking to change careers
