The Newfoundland Workforce Innovation Centre is fostering future skills and driving better labor market outcomes through research and a thriving digital community of practice. The Newfoundland Workforce Innovation Centre (NLWIC) was established in 2017 by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador with a mandate to engage in research that addresses major challenges and opportunities related to workforce development. This digital community of practice hosts research project findings and deliverables, facilitates dialogue and knowledge exchange among stakeholders, and drives the adoption of best practices to support better labour market outcomes. Policy makers, researchers, and anyone with an interest in the future of work in Newfoundland and Labrador is invited to join this community to access recent research and take part in ongoing discussions related to Canada’s evolving labour market.
